The consortium entailing the leading research and
innovation (R&I) funders from 12 Baltic and North Sea countries (BE, DK, EE,
LV, LT, NL, NO, PL, SE, UK) will prepare a framework for launching the
joint Baltic and North Sea R&I programme from 2021
What will be achieved?
The future Baltic and North Sea R&I programme is set out to underpin and develop EU and
national policies and strategies, with particular consideration of Europe’s
blue growth strategy in the northern European regional seas. It will also generate strong EU added value and impact.
Development of a
joint Baltic and North Sea strategic R&I agenda and related engagement platforms
will enable stakeholders and end-users of R&I of the
future programme to be part of the action from the very beginning.
